Crochet Moose Head Wall Mount

Crochet moose head wall mount

I had an idea of crocheting big moose head wall mount some 2-3 years ago, while working on my amigurumi fawn pattern. By the time I finished little fawn, I became a bit weary of crafting deer-like creatures and promptly shelved the idea. It came back to me just recently and I decided to give it a try. I must say, the result exceeded my expectations—I adore how it gazes down at me above my entrance door. It’s been hanging there for the past 3-4 days, and each time I catch sight of it, I’m pleasantly surprised anew.

I enjoyed working on this piece so much that I can’t imagine anything else on my list of future projects than another animal’s head. I’m just not sure which animal to tackle next. Perhaps a mouse, a bunny, or even an elephant… I’d love to make them all. Who knows what will inspire me next? The possibilities are endless, and I’m excited to see where my creativity takes me.
