Crochet Deer Head Wall Mount

Introducing my latest project, the adorable crochet deer head wall mount. It has found a temporary spot in our kitchen and is happily hanging on the rope. However, it will not stay with us for too long, as it’s intended as a gift for a dear friend. Why is it always so difficult to say goodbye?

The best part is that this project was surprisingly quick, taking less than 4 hours to complete. Originally, I aimed to create a miniature version of my popular Hogar the Moose. However, the original facial features didn’t quite suit the smaller head, so I had to make some adjustments. As a result, the final product resembled a cute deer head. Focusing on cuteness, I decided to swap the two nostril holes for a big black nose. Positioning and attaching parts which is always so tricky, with this guy was fairly simple, much to my delight.

As I hang my crochet deer head wall mount in our kitchen, I can’t help but feel a twinge of sadness at the upcoming goodbye. Although it started as an attempt to replicate Hogar the Moose, it evolved into a cute deer head with its own unique charm.
