Crochet chair cover, a simple project that can effortlessly transform the look of any chair in need of a makeover.
Crafting this chair cover is simple, although it does take some time. If you have a chair that could use a makeover, it’s definitely worth trying out.. Adding a pop of color to your space is easy with this project. You can really cheer up the space if you make 4 pieces in different colors (that’s what I intend to do).
I used cotton, sport-weight yarn and a 2.5 mm crochet hook. Here is how to make it:
Rnd 1: Chain 72, sc in second ch from hook and in next 69 chs, 2 sc in last ch, working back across the foundation ch, sc in next 70 sts, 2 sc in last st. (144)
Rnds 2 – 40: Sc in each st around (144)
Rnd 41: (Sl st in next st, sc in next st, (hdc, dc) in next st, ch 1, (dc, hdc) in next st, sc in next st, sl st in next st) around.
That’s all for now! If you decide to crochet this chair cover yourself, I’d love to hear how it turns out. Feel free to share your experience with me.
