Hair clips I made for Mia. I thought they would match with her new dress. She now wants a pair in each color:)
To make the clips you will need:
- some scraps of cotton yarn, sport weight (pink, of course:)
- hook Nr. 2.5
- a nice button
- tapestry needle, a little bit of thread to sew the button and scissors
- metal clip (I reused the old clip)
Abbreviations:
ch – chain
sc – single crochet
sl st – slip stitch
hdc – half double crochet
dc – double crochet
st – stitch
Rnd – Round

Instructions to make them:
With magic adjustable ring and cotton yarn:
Rnd 1: 5 sc into the center of ring (5)
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each st around (10)
Rnd 3: [(Sc, hdc, dc, ch1, dc, hdc, sc) in next st, sl st in next st] around (40)
Fasten off and weave in yarn ends. Sew button on top cener of the flower and glue it (or sew) to the clip.
That’s it, easy and ready to use in 15 minutes.
